three Greene County amateur radio clubs (Bellbrook, Fairborn and Xenia) and
Greene County ARES, will be held concurrently on Sunday evenings from 7:00
to 9:00 PM beginning February 10th and continuing through April 7th. A

PM.

The entry level Technician Class Course will be held in the Training Center
at the Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club Clubhouse, Room 1 (Lower Level),
Sugarcreek Elementary School, 51 South East Street in Bellbrook (45305). No
prior experience is required and there is no minimum age required to earn a
Technician Class license. Morse Code no longer is required for any amateur
radio license.

The General Class Course (and the Test Session) will be held in the Training
Room at Beavercreek Township Fire Station 1 [Greene County Station 61]
located at 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road just west of Orchard Lane & just north of
US-35.

The Extra Class Course will be held in the Training Room at Fairborn Fire
Station 2 located at 2200 Commerce Center Blvd just south of Dayton-Yellow
Springs Rd (just east of I-675).

Students in the Greene County license courses are encouraged to attend as
many class sessions as possible but are not required to attend all sessions
in the event of schedule conflicts.

Detailed directions to the respective sites will be provided to students
upon request.

There is no charge for the courses or for the test session but all students
are encouraged to have a copy of the respective ARRL License Manual. Please
see note below about purchasing options for a license manual-now also
available in Kindle e-book format for computers and mobile devices.

Please pass this information along to anyone you know who might be
interested in preparing for an amateur radio license. Also, all current
Technician Class hams are encouraged to consider upgrading to General Class
