I’m forwarding this post from OH-KY-IN ARS since a lot of the older (long-time) hams in our area knew Hank. He relocated to Michigan after retiring a number of years ago but still was active in the annual Ohio QSO Party for many years from one or more Ohio counties either portable or as a rover. Hank also was one of the people responsible for presenting the annual Digital Seminar at Miami University-Middletown back in the ‘Packet Radio’ days.

It is with sadness that I report to the QCEN group that a long-time member, Hank Greeb, N8XX, passed away this morning in Michigan, where he had lived for almost twenty years. Hank retained his membership in the club even after moving. For many years, he was editor of the Listening Post, and served QCEN in many other capacities during his time here.
Funeral arrangements are pending. It is also possible that a memorial service will be held in Cincinnati at some time in the future.
This information comes from Allan Greeb, Hank’s son, through Joe Wessels, W8WYF.
Tom Delaney
