Hello BARC & GCARES & Xwarn.

I have just received word that Fred Stone, W8LLY has been admitted to
Hospice of Dayton for comfort care. Fred was a beloved member and a founder
of the Bellbrook Amateur Radio Club. He was a friend to any ham that he
met. His daughter Amy said he got sick mid June and they found he had
Pancreatic Cancer. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Amy said his comment was "Tell them that I am sorry I'm going away.
Carryon."

The following is quoted from Amy's email: I wanted to let you all know
that Dad has moved to Hospice of Dayton and is receiving comfort care.

Could you please let the clubs know (BARC, GCARES, etc). If anyone wants
to send him a quick thought, they can text or email me and I'll pass it
along to him.

Email: abstone1923 at gmail.com

Again, he has expressed how blessed he has been to have such great friends.
Thank you.

The Hospice of Dayton telephone number is (937) 256-4490. We suspect there
are no visitors, but you can call.

In the meantime send your messages to Amy's addresses above.
