Thanks, Don, for the reminder about the annual Ohio Statewide Tornado Drill
coming up this coming Wednesday 24 March at 0940 (9:40am).  Everyone is
welcome to check into the SOUTH Dayton Section Skywarn Net frequency
(146.64- PL 123.0) which also is the frequency for the Montgomery County
Weather Net.

 

However, all Greene County ham are encouraged to check into the Greene
County Weather Net on the XWARN 2m Repeater (147.165+ PL 123.0) when
activated around 0940 Wednesday.  A Liaison Station on the Greene County
Weather Net will report a summary of Greene County Wx Net activity to Dayton
Section Skywarn at the end of the Drill.  All Greene County hams are
encouraged to check into the Greene County Weather Net during this annual
Drill.  All BARC members and others also are welcome to check into the
Greene County Wx Net.

Amateur Radio Operators will again conduct a statewide test of communication
systems on Wednesday, March 24 at 9:50 AM as part of the Ohio Statewide
Tornado Drill. Please monitor our primary frequencies on 146.64- (South) and
146.835- (North) to check-in for the drill.
