We were fearful that we would be requested to help at the last minute.</span><br><span></span><br><span>As it turns out, the Tour is now under new, last-second leadership, and an email requesting our help was received Tuesday August 17. The event is Saturday August, 28.</span><br><span></span><br><span>This morning, Scott (KB8JOY), Randy (KI6NHT), and I (AA8TI) met with the new bike event director. He fully understands that this is a last minute request. He also understands that while we will make every effort to put together a good team, nothing is guaranteed.</span><br><span></span><br><span>We are asking you to thoughtfully (and quickly) check your availability to support this event with any time that you have available. We need "all hands on deck" before we commit to help. At the club meeting on Monday, August, 23, we will be determining whether the event is a "go" or not.</span><br><span></span><br><span>As soon as humanly possible, please indicate whether you are available to help.
