reminder of this Thursdays Tech Night.


"DMR Workshop" at the BARC clubhouse; 7pm


concentrating on digital APRS-GPS, and other little known DMR radio
functions.  Tim Procuniar (N8NQH) will present a How-To on configuring your
DMR radio to
have its  GPS coordinates  displayed on APRS.FI; all sent digitally.  I
will bring my DMR repeater so you cxan visually see it in operation.


Next; John Westerkamp (W8LRJ) and Bill Curtice (WA8APB) will live demo
other radio
features; like radio (wellness) checks, requesting GPS coordinates from
another DMR radio...


And in Tech Night fashion, there will be live demonstrations.  This will
not be a night of Power Point only!!!  Last will be a general DMR Q&A
session.


We can also help in programming and configuration; bring your DMR radio
along.
