Happy August XWARN! Hope your summer is going well and you got many chances to operate your radios. Ending the summertime, next month is a large event for our area – the Air Force Marathon. I hope everyone can volunteer. Sign ups usu-ally close August 31st. If you have any questions, contact Bob N8ADO. Is there any interest in starting a club POTA group? 2025 Air Force Marathon Volunteer Registration

Registration for the Air Force Marathon is still open through the end of August, but please register as soon as possible if you have not done so. The list stands at 44 volunteers registered. 2025 Young’s Jersey Dairy Charity Bike Ride

Requesting Amateur Radio Operators to provide support to Young’s CharityBike Ride on Saturday, September 6. This is a relatively large event due to a good number of participantsand a very large geographical area. We need lots of ham volunteers. Thestart/finish will be at Young’s Dairy (US-68, just north of YellowSprings). There are several route options. Locations are spread across southernClark into western Madison, and northern Greene counties. Start is scheduled for 8 am and the last rider typically rolls in around5 pm. Assignments will be staggered through this time period. Most ofthe assigned locations require a decent mobile set-up–25 watts…
